The Rotary Club of Ione is putting on its 2nd Annual Show & Shine at Eagle’s Nest Airport in Ione, California on May 30th, 2015. The Nor Cal GTO Club had a good showing of Classic and New Gen Goats at this event last year. Let’s shoot for an even better showing this year!

Open headers are requested at this event!

There were 644 cars shown at this event last year, but this year will be limited to 600 cars.

Driving Directions from Sacramento:

1. Take US 50 east to Sunrise

2. Exit Sunrise and go south 5 miles to Jackson Highway, Left on Jackson Highway

3. Go about 12 miles to Rancho Murieta, continue 2 more miles on Jackson Highway to Ione Road, right turn onto Ione Road

4. Go 7-miles south-east to SECOND Carbondale, (tile plant on right), turn left onto Carbondale Road (Note- First Carbondale is OK, but a rougher road)

5. Go up Carbondale Road 2-miles to Lambert, go up Lambert 1-mile to Airport & Show

WARNING- Do not use Google maps or GPS routing, these systems will take you on dead end country roads!!!

WARNING- If coming from Plymouth or Jackson (motels) west on State 16 to Carbondale, DO NOT take the first Lambert Road, it is gravel & dusty. Lambert makes a “U”, go to the other end of Lambert (further down Carbondale) to the nice paved end to the airport.
