    • Kool April Nites is an annual week long car show and cruise in Redding, California that is open to various pre-1980 makes and models. Some of the Northern California GTO Club members attend this event with their cars during the weekend of the cruise and main car show. This is not a Northern California GTO Club sanctioned event, therefore membership of our club is not a requirement in order to attend. With this being the 50th Anniversary of the GTO, we’re mentioning this show on our Website in hopes of getting as many of our members (with their GTOs of course) to attend as possible. Our plan is to display our cars together as a club, which would require Northern California GTO Club membership for any GTO owners wanting to park with us.

  1. I work for Bailey Motors here in Redding. My boss, Jake Bailey, has always entered one or more of his old cars in Kool April Nights parade and car show. This year he just didn’t have time to get his cars “parade ready” but would very much like to secure a spot at the Civic to show his cars, pitch a tent (so to speak) and talk cars to other car enthusiasts. Can you tell me what the fee would be to so that.

    • Hi Margie, since Kool April Nites is not a Northern California GTO Club sanctioned event, we don’t have the answer to your question. With this being the 50th Anniversary of the GTO, we’re mentioning this show on our Website in hopes of getting as many of our members (with their GTOs of course) to attend as possible.
